For more than thirty years, I’ve been capturing the sights and sounds of our funky, eclectic corner of Texas.

With westaustin.life I have created an easy to remember web destination for anyone who needs a West Austin fix. Think of this online destination as a kind of Zen App with bats, owls, pussycats and people who say "howdy".

Admit it, West Austin's wildlife, even the domesticated variety, puts on quite a show.

Sharing these images, taken during my daily dog walks in West Austin from 1995 to 2024, is my way of expressing the deep appreciation we all have for the creatures who call our corner of Texas home.
